Receiving a Soul Reading is an extraordinary, and possibly, life changing experience. It is an experience that can facilitate great heart healing and comfort for grief and sadness. It can help create a surety of knowing that your loved ones continue to exist, just not in physical form.  A knowing that loved ones are no longer in pain or suffering, but are in a healing space and at peace. A knowing that they are around you often, often sending you signs they are around you.

You need to be aware that you are actually an active participant during the reading, even though you will be sitting there listening to Kelly most of the time, your energy depends on how the reading will go. It is like making a three-way phone call, using love as the invisible connector. It is suggested that in the days leading up to your scheduled reading, you should think about the loved ones you would like to communicate with who are in Spirit. Look at some photos, think of cherished memories, and ask them in your mind to come to the reading. This actually sends a 'call' out across the veil and to the Spirit World so they are ready and prepared to be there the day of the reading.

Also, you need to come to the reading with an open heart and an open mind, so that you'll be able to receive messages from loved ones. Do not hold any specific expectations for a certain outcome for the reading (example: If a butterfly isn't mentioned, then it's not them. If the ring in my pocket, or that I'm wearing, isn't mentioned, it's not them.) A lot of times, these types of verifications do come through, but not always. Spirit brings through what is needed to come through in the reading and this needs to be Trusted.

Since most of the time the readings are being held via Zoom (or by telephone), Kelly recommends you find a space that is quiet and comfortable. Turn off any cell phones or devices that may be interruptive, ensure you can limit as many interruptions from the outside world as possible. Notify Kelly if anyone else is in your home (or wherever you are) during the reading as this can affect the reading. You may have a notebook for note taking, but the reading can be recorded (visually and audibly) with links being sent to you via email afterwards, so you can truly immerse yourself into the experience of the reading and not be distracted. It is recommended to have a glass of water or something to drink nearby and tissues handy. 

Kelly will go over a few things before she begins your reading, explaining the process, and allow for any questions you may have for her beforehand. Kelly does her best to ensure your experience is one of profound healing, joy, and love.

Unfortunately this does happen sometimes. It doesn't mean that your loved one is not there and has chosen to not come talk with you. It's usually because Kelly cannot make an energetic connection with them for some reason. Usually, Kelly will ask towards the end of the reading if there is someone you would like to come through that has not yet. If this is a Yes, then Kelly will do her best to make a connection with the person who has not come through yet. She may ask for the person's name and what relationship they had with you in life, as that can sometimes send a kind of 'call' out energetically to them. If she cannot link with that person, connection can always be tried again during another reading with her, or Kelly may recommend that you receive a reading from another Medium, who perhaps may have better success. 

Yes. Usually, Kelly will first allow for your loved one to come through to give evidence of who they are, so they are recognized by you. Then, she asks them for any messages they have for you or other loved ones. Towards the end of the reading, Kelly may allow for questions from you to your loved one or any messages you'd like to share with them. However, please know that some questions are too specific and it may be difficult for Kelly to get a clear answer from Spirit.

Also, please do not ask questions that are only to 'test the Medium', such as, "What is my middle name?" or other questions you know the answer to. The recipient needs to come to the reading with an open heart and open mind. Testing the Medium means the recipient is not in the vibrational state to receive for their highest good.

Although a Spirit can often communicate very quickly after death, it is recommended to not get a mediumship reading until you have sufficiently given yourself time to grieve and feel you are ready emotionally to receive a reading. Sometimes, if we are still grieving too hard, it could be hard to truly 'receive' and 'hear' the messages your loved ones have for you when they come through. It can also make connection to that Spirit difficult as grieving is a lower vibration state and to make connection, we have to be in a higher vibrational state. Kelly understands that life happens and we may not always be able to keep to our planned day. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your reading, please do your best to notify Kelly at least 24 hours in advance via email or by telephone.  Kelly will also do her best to notify you in advance should she need to cancel/reschedule your reading as well. 

The goal of a reading is for you to receive messages, information, healings, that are meeting your Soul's highest need. It is often a healing for you to receive a true knowing your loved ones still exist beyond their earthly life. You may feel a range of feelings from euphoria to sadness. Know that you will be taking a step towards a kind of spiritual heart healing and unfolding, so a variety of feelings can surface. Many times I hear that recipients are deeply reflective and processing emotions for days or weeks afterwards. Do not be surprised if you find yourself opening in heart and in mind to the endless possibilities of the Universe, or experiencing increased synchronicities in your daily life.
